It's all well and good to put up a set of shelves, paint the walls and generally organise your garage but when it comes to heating it's time to pause and consider the options. Given that your garage may already house your main boiler it might seem like a good idea to add another radiator and have a centrally heated garage. However, it's not as simple as that. If your central heating system was set up properly in the first place just adding another radiator can throw out the entire balance of your house heating resulting in cold rooms or inefficient heating.
There's also the expense of even having just one radiator installed, the system bled, refilled, tested, left on by accident and wasting heat.....
NB: Cabinet heaters or any other form of flueless or open flue appliance should not be used in garages being used to store any flammable materials/vapours eg. petrol
